Children of the Self-Absorbed

Do not think or expect that others will perceive the parent as you do, even other members of your family. Your parent may almost always show you his grandiose side by showing an impoverished (poor me) side to others …. Which emphasizes how he is unfairly treated and constantly being disappointed through no fault of his own…and expresses miseries and woes and other such complaints, so the grandiose side is suppressed.
