Grief Paralysis… Or Something to That Effect (EP 138)

A woman lost her husband. Of course she’s grieving. But what kind of grief does one truly experience when the partner who has passed was extremely verbally abusive throughout their 27 years together?

Today’s show is about a client who is apologized to by her deceased husband who is only now (that he’s dead) willing to admit to the decades of abuse he knowingly put her through. He also identifies the multitude of ways it has affected both her personal and professional life. Perhaps you will find pieces of yourself on either side of this story and better understand the kind of help you will need in order to make the healthy changes that are necessary to live a healthy life.
